At The First Time Of Asking...

REVEALED AT LAST:
'How To Join The Special Air Service'
For The First Time The Insider Career Guide Which Will Show You
Everything You Need To Know To Join The SAS
(But The Recruitment Team Hope
You Don't Find Out)
The SAS is a
small and secretive institution that forms part of the UK Special Forces
and it is regarded as the
world’s finest of all Special Forces and was
originally founded by Lieutenant David Stirling during World War II.
The initial
purpose of the regiment was to be a long-range desert patrol group required
to conduct raids and sabotage operations far behind enemy lines. Lieutenant
Stirling was a member of Number 8 Commando and he specifically looked for
recruits who were both talented and individual specialists in their field
and who also had initiative.
Founded by David Stirling, the SAS were the first counterterrorism unit to
be invented, and whilst many other Special Forces have copied their tactics,
they still remain the leaders in their field. This does not mean to say that
other Special Forces are of no worth, just that the SAS are, and always will
be, the finest Special Operations Unit in the world.

The selection
process for entry into the SAS is undoubtedly the toughest of any of the
worldwide Special Forces. What makes it so tough is the fact that it tests
both one’s physical and mental stamina over a prolonged period of time. In
order to pass this stage of the selection process a soldier will need to be
highly
determined and have the ability to look after himself.
The ability to read a map
is an essential skill to becoming a member of the SAS. You may well find
yourself behind enemy lines and your ability to read a map could be a matter
of life and death. It is often critical to completing missions and locating
targets. You will need to demonstrate a high level of map reading skills
during the selection process and is taken as seriously as your fitness
levels.
Those who fail
selection do so for a number of reasons, which range from either a lack of
fitness, a lack of determination, being disliked by the instructors, being
over-confident, not listening to the instructors, not doing what they are
told or simply giving in.
We will show you what
is involved, what is required of you and how to pass the recruitment process.

Within this
guide we will also show you how to get SAS fit. Many candidates who put
themselves through selection process will be ill-prepared and they won’t
even realise it until they begin. Your preparation should be simple yet
highly effective and we will show you how to achieve the SAS fitness level.
If you are thinking about
